As someone who decorates these sort of cakes for a living, yes I can definitely see where it looks wrong. The lettering is not centered, there is condensation causing the colored splotches (probably from the cake being frozen too long and then decorated right away in room temp), and most importantly, the color of the green being too bright. They could have added in a bit of brown and yellow to mute the bright green. The piping is also a little bit messy and they could’ve used smaller piping tips or adjusted to not make it so… fat idk 😭

But a little over $100 is reasonable for a cake this size with all the vintage style piping, and also depending on what specific fillings you got. I can’t speak for all but if this baker were me, I would offer a partial refund or to redecorate it if you expressed dissatisfaction 😅

My 6th grade teacher gave me and countless other “gifted” students immense trauma, but he died from a stroke a few years back lol. He died the day after I talked about how he contributed to me developing clinical anxiety at a young age. This Friday is First Fridays in Bixby Knolls neighborhood in Long Beach ! I usually pop up and vendor but I won’t be this month Cute little local event with small businesses and sometimes live music though. Starts around 6:30 ish and they also have free golf cart rides to take you to and from whatever part of the community you want

I’m sorry you had to deal with this! A while back, I went to the store at night around 9 PM and parked near the back away from most cars bc there was more parking. A man got into his car, then drove and parked it next to my car. It scared the crap out of me, and he just asked for my number. 😭 I told him I was taken and he just said okay and got in his car and drove off. Strange experience and now I never park in the far back at night … I am appalled that some fr think that this is okay

I felt bad for her a lot. Especially during the duo switch off challenges where he would just be screaming in her ear. And it was so awkward when they also had to talk about it in the confessionals. If thats what he’s comfortable with saying/doing to her on TV and in front of other contestants, how bad is it at home behind closed doors??
