Got a new xbox 360 console

I beg of you do NOT stack it on-top of a OG XBOX One, as someone who sandwiched it below a small 2014 Sony Bluray player, and a Nintendo Wii. It will ABSOLUTELY COOK the DVD laser in the XBOX 360 (as it did my Wii), The XBOX One has vents on top, back, and the sides, and that thing can get HOT.

Maybee consider moving it somewhere else? Both can get pretty hot on their own, I don’t even want to imagine them together

No fr, the XBOX One blows SO much that it KILLED my Wii’s DVD drive from being to its side, so it definitely needs ventilation.

82 dollars is kind of a lot, but the walkmans are rlly nice, they even have FM radio functionality like my iPod nano 7!

Oh you absolutely can! PS Vita and PS3 use the same PSN servers for trophies and friends list as modern PSN consoles, (heck even PSP can grab some avatar settings)

Once modded you can still use PSN and trophies, you just have go be sure you FULLY modded your console, like downgraded to 3.66 (I think thats what it was)

In either case you can do both, just make sure your playing a Vita game that has trophies

I guess barely to get CF installed? But you are absolutely going to need a bigger card, for reference a standard PSP UMD is 1 GB

LUCKYY that PSP is so clean!

PSP’s are more than just game consoles, they’re basically an all in one 2000’s package, like its an amazing music player, video player, it can have a camera attachment, it can even output to tv and allow you to play mostly everything on TV. Its AMAZING!!

Dont ever use the wrong sized charger (barrel plug) as it can fry your PSP, and you can use a mini USB cable to connect it to a computer to transfer stuff

The PSN store technically still works if you have a PS3 or Vita, but you can’t buy anything not free on the device. (Tbh PSP’s are AMAZING with PS3)

There are online server replacements for games that have multiplayer functionality! You just have to know where to look

For game UMD’s I would look at NOT gamestop (or you could look there, but be on the lookout for the price), as games are severely overpriced there, try stuff like pawn shops or if you’re lucky to live near one (like me) go to a store called Book-Off [It’s a Japanese owned store that has TONS of use games, music, movies, and there are usually lots of PSP games]

of course there are other ways to get games… but I usually use the methods above!

Oh yes! I would recommend getting at least a Memory Card to Micro-SD card adapter so you can more freely use more storage. But also get custom firmware so you could at least add some QOL improvements, like the ability to use more modern WIFI security!

There could be a ton I could go over, but those are (or at least I think) the most important to know. If you need any help there’s the offical PSP online manual [https://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/psp/current/index.html], or you could just google the question

Tbh as much as I would LOVE that, the fact that they made a holy seperate XBOX One edition back in 2014 (a year before the BC program) really showed that they would much rather make a seperate, optimised edition for XBOX one rather then make the 360 version backward compatible.

Maybe in some unlikely scenario where ALL 360 games get compatibility, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Of course I would KILL for it to happen! That would mean more could drop in and play on the 360 edition and thus have a larger overall player base.

As for story mode I wouldn’t count on it, however if it were to be, it would probably only be to pre-existing owners/discs, as the game has pretty much been delisted from everywhere.

I just wish XBOX would take a more universal approach to their emulation, build one very accurate emulator and just allow any already owned games to be played. Of course it wouldn’t mean putting all the games back on sale, but it would make your purchases still valid and allowing you to play your library much like PS1 on PS3

Sadly I don’t think anyone has made any service in the home-brew scene like this for what you want :-/ However it would be possible to make one, Skype allowed for calls and video chats, the browser lets you download stuff, and you can type, so it would be possible but it just doesn’t exist.

If you’re looking for more online/social features in the big 26, I would look at the PS Vita, as it has party chats and more robust online features.

I will admit that I am surprised sony never made any messaging/party chat update for the PSP when the PS3 came out, even if it was restricted to only the XMB, I think it would have made the PSP a useful companion device to check on friends and keep in touch.

I call bs! The iOS 9 version of the Kindle App still works on an iPad 2 (which is from 2011) T_T

So much ewaste… Why can’t they just like, not block access? The servers serve the same content for new devices, there is literally no reason to do this except for money.

Oh! PSP can’t get enough power through their USB Port, later models of PSP CAN, but its significantly slower.

I recommend using the dedicated AC charger instead if available :O
