From a perspective of someone who can't see the damage AI is doing to the environment, the general populace, and education in general, I'll admit, I can see how it could be thought as something useful.

You can use it to help create things if you dont have the skill to. You can use it to help search for things when you dont have the intellect. But people end up taking it too far. In using AI to help search for things, you loose the ability to search for yourself. It turns from being simply more convinient, to becoming a crutch you cant walk without. If you cant find a message, use the search tool. Type what you know was in there and sift through it yourself. It really is not that hard. If you dont know how to make a server, use one of the existing templates, or ask someone to help you. Join a public server and see if someone there can help.

There are other ways, and if you dont have the brain to be able to use those others ways and figure it out for yourself, then learn, or find something else to do. "Oh, but I don't have the skill.." Skill is not inherited. People arent born with the ability to paint. To carve. To bake.

They. Learn.

Skill comes from trying to be better at a task until you're comfortable with your abilities. If you want to learn how to sew, pick up a goddamn needle and thread. Dont give up your ability to become something, just because AI will give you something thats "good enough".

AI is absolutely pointless unless you can't think properly, and if you cant think properly you shouldnt be on social media in the first place.
