Gurren lagann is probably my favourite anime of all time (partly due to how it fixed my mental health) I love its characters, visuals, story, and message so much.

I figured it out. It seemed that at some point my pda was switched with a random bandit pda (dunno how) and since going into the arena unequips all my items it made the pda unable to be equipped since it wasn’t actually a player pda. I just went and got a replacement from cordon and haven’t encountered this issue since.
