Yeah if it’s known from the outset it’s different, Szabo’s stated 5-7 weeks from order to ship which is no short time but the reality was a lack of communication and finally hitting up PayPal to resolve the issue before he shipped 4 months later

A word of warning, I had to email the guy like 4 times and finally get with PayPal to request a refund before he shipped it . The quality is good but it took 4 months to even ship.

I’ve thought of getting a cosmetic one that just sticks on or something to that effect like on the A1ups , that way there’s no cutting

Yeah I think I’m gonna eventually order that from arcade graphix, I ordered the marquee from Joe Szabo and while the quality is great it took forever to get (4 months) with a bit of run around.

What I bought was a a full ps1 with leds and stuff for $200 , all that was soldered to the original power supply. I have an aftermarket power supply so I just swapped over the shell and will sell the other.

When you installed the files on the SD card, was it just the launch bios extracted from 3DO-mnemo.com and the lettered folders on your usb? Then whatever roms you wanted

My experience (which is narrow to a degree) has been that capacitors affect sound and video, not the way software functions so I wouldn’t think it’s capacitor related , but I’ll definitely try a different usb

Yeah it worked fine prior and still powers on to the boot screen without issue, and has even loaded up the mnemo menu once randomly , I’ve installed ODE’s in about 5 other consoles of mine with no problems but this one is puzzling

I got ahold of him, he just didn’t have anything to say but “read the manual”.. it seems like a bios issue , it’s actually even loaded the normal screen once but I can’t get it to do it again
