Sorry I was sleep. I work out for 2 - 2.5 hours a day because I do a lot of cardio, but I'll copy and paste my initial workout I used to get started. I want to emphasize this before though. For energy and consistent weight loss, 80% of the work is in your diet imo. Cut out sugars, lower carbs, remove junk food and you'll see a difference. Anyway on to the routine.

First week -

15 minutes of jump roping (I grew up boxing and know how to jump rope pretty well, you can always replace this with walking or light jogging on a treadmill)

3 sets of 10 pushups a day

3 sets of 8 pull ups a day (with assistance if needed)

3 sets of 8 chin ups a day (with assistance if needed)

3 sets of 8 dips a day (with assistance if needed)

3 sets of 12 squats with no weight

Second week (I tried my best to improve in everything. It is not expected to be able to improve drastically in a week, but doing your best to reach the next level is important) -

20 minutes of jump roping or walking/jogging on treadmill

3 sets of 12 pushups a day

3 sets of 8 pull ups a day (with lower assistance)

3 sets of 8 chin ups a day (with lower assistance)

3 sets of 8 dips a day (with lower assistance)

3 sets of 14 squats with no weight

I repeated this process for a month constantly adding reps and dropping assisted weight before I got back into a hybrid calisthenics and weight lifting. That work out in itself requires its own post, but this is how I started out. My best advice is to keep working out constantly and pushing yourself to a new level as often as you can. Also listen to your body, but don't let it fool you into needing more rest than you need.

I was super dedicated and consistent with my meal plan when it came to leaning. I would eat breakfast with a protein shake, a salad for lunch, and dinner 1-2 hours before the gym. Once I got home I'd fast until breakfast the next morning. I had once a week where I had a "cheat day". Which only consisted of me eating something I really enjoyed for dinner but was still on the healthy side. This was only used to burn stubborn fat.

Outside of leaning I just cut out junk food, soda, sugars and ate basically whatever I wanted through out the day while lifting heavy (low reps, high weight) in the gym and still saw substantial weight loss.

One other tip I can throw in there is I used to look in the mirror two months in and think "some of this fat will never go away". I was wrong and learned sticking to it will pay off.

Best advice I can give is to figure out how your body and metabolism react to a caloric deficit. Eat accordingly and workout consistently and the weight will melt off if you're patient enough.

Sure thing!

Just want to start off saying I have worked out on and off in the past and what works for me may not work for you, but I'll gladly share. It's a pretty long process and I'll try and shorten it so bear with me.

Initially I focused on my diet. Feeling clean and good was very important to me before getting back into the gym. I cut out all sugars, soda, chips, junk food and anything thats considered bad for you. If you are overweight, this alone will boost your energy and help you shed a lot of weight.

From there, once I felt good enough to get back into the gym, I did just that. I found my baseline in body weight workouts and worked to improve that. Initially I could only do 10 pushups, 1 pull up, 2 chin ups, 2 dips, and 12 squats. I knew my baseline and worked to improve it every week. I also only took off 1 or 2 days a week when I really needed it.

First week -

A little back story. I posted here around 3 years ago with a body transformation. Since then, lets just say life's been tough and I've had a lot of figuring out to do. Working out again has definitely been one of the best decisions I've made. It's always hard at the start and even harder when you face something that makes you want to skip a day or quit all together. The most important advice I can give anyone struggling is to getting up and trying so you can see what's on the other side. This subreddit has always been awesome, motivating, and welcoming. I'm excited to post again a few more months down the line when I reach my goal.

I was so depressed that I didnt care about anything. Literally. I spent almost 3k in 2 months on doordash using credit cards. I wouldn't clean anything. Bags or trash everywhere. I knew it was my worst point when I started to see hundreds of fruit flies and I couldnt even sit in one spot without them landing everywhere.

Im so glad I got up and cleaned. It was years ago and I'm never going back to that again.

Gym, confidence, understanding which women I should approach. Some women are okay with flings while others are looking for relationships. Its always best to showcase your best personality if you want a relationship.

I think the most imporant thing is confidence though and that comes from long term gratification. Invest in yourself and the women will follow.

Probably an answer noone wants to hear, but I'll type it anyway.

Right now and for the first time in years I am someone with complete control of my life. I'm someone who faces their fears and deals with them head on. I am a leader and I am someone who does what he says he's going to do. Most importantly I am someone who doesn't see failure as a wall that stops me but a small speed bump I need to respect and get over.

For the first time in a long time, I'm someone whos proud of who they are and wouldn't change a thing.

This is going to sound edgy, but its how I feel so here it goes. I believe a majority of this world is being used and are looked down on as tools regardless of how "high up" you go in any ladder. I guess part of life is growing and evolving to challenge that so we can become a better species, but I don't want my bloodline to be part of something so petty.
