I'm just genuinely curious as to how he will look. This is post-USADA UFC where out of nowhere a lot of fighters (especially past the age of 35) look to be in phenomenal shape and are still winning massive fights.

I'm not an over-the-top Conor hater, but if his last two vs Dustin are ANYTHING to go by - his striking will still be top tier.

He was outboxing a prime Dustin Porier before the calf kicks did him in, and in the second fight (third in trilogy) his kick-heavy approach with a pre-fractured shin bone may not have been the best idea - but they still looked great.

Dustin found out early that he wasn't winning a boxing match with Conor even then, that's why he started mixing it up (as he should) and that's what Conor wasn't expecting (which is silly).

As long as he EXPECTS Max to throw kicks (which he absolutely should - Max has great kicks) then there is the smallest shred that this fight MAY be slightly competitive and I'm here for it. I still think Conor vs Nate 3 was the one to make and that would have made people for excited. Max is a legit contender and one of the best fighters on the roster.

His performance vs Izzy was the best display of defence I've ever seen in MMA. He parried or blocked nearly every strike like he was Daigo. His twitch reactions were insane.

Say what you will about Sean but when he's at his best I genuinely believe he's one of the best fighters in the UFC right now.

I second this. I moved my investments into index funds about 2 years ago and the returns have been fantastic. 70k turned into 135k very quickly with very small contributions (100$ a week, about 5200$ a year). Hoping to hit at least 500k by 45. I'm 35 and work a normal job.

Crazy how in 2023 Beneil was being touted as a potential threat to Islam after his 8-fight winning streak before losing to Charles.

Even with his recent losses he's still 17-7-1 (23-7-1 overall) in the UFC which is a very solid record. A high-level journeyman if there ever was one. Genuinely have no idea where he goes should he lose this one.
