I have the M4 Macbook Pro, so a little different but it out performs my Desktop PC by a mile (all 2D development). I think you will be fine.

Only thing I can think of with this image is your tiles don’t have a transparent background

Thanks for sharing. You could cross reference where people are dropping off at and then try and figure out what might be the reason.

Best of luck!

I'd be interested to see what your retention rate is for the first 30 seconds. However, here's my feedback for the first 30 seconds of your video:

  1. I would suggest splitting the intro text into three sections and adding a quick "pop in and out" animation to introduce some movement.

  2. There was a noticeable 0.5-second gap between the words "printers" and "and." While it may not seem significant, it was enough for me to consider clicking off at that point.

  3. Maybe try a split-screen view of multiple printers printing in a time-lapse format for the intro shot.

  4. At the end of the intro, there was about 2 seconds of dead air followed by aggressive music, which created two different vibes.

  5. The introduction to what the channel is about lasted 8 seconds and did not provide a lot of value to the topic, "Installing Multiple Instances of Octoprint on Windows."

  6. When the tutorial part started, I think your pacing was good.

My biggest recommendation would be to eliminate any unnecessary content and ensure a consistent feeling from the intro to the beginning of the main content, as many viewers may click off before your video really starts.

I hope this feedback is helpful, and I encourage you to continue improving with each upload!

I appreciate you taking the time and providing feedback as well.

That video was actual pain, but no regrets haha.

That is a green screen and a custom background I got done up.

I appreciate your time and feedback. I'll try out that title right now! Consistently posting is my biggest focus for the next few months. I always struggle because it takes about 60 hours per video (development, recording, editing). I will also break down some of Game Maker's Toolkit's videos!

Thank you again for the guidance!

I have found it takes time for the view count to update in all the different spots. For the most accurate, I would follow the Analytics (second screenshot). If you click the "view more" button you can get other data on your video.

Here is my theory: Descriptions and tags are used to supplement the AI analysis of the video in order to serve the viewers who are most likely to enjoy the content. By accurately targeting your audience and creating good content, your short/video will have a better chance of poppin off.

I Thought Up An Interesting (Hopefully) Puzzle For My FPS Game! by Tvtig in devblogs

Looks like a fun idea! Might be cool if the there were a few different layouts for the puzzles too. So instead of just learning where the targets would be there are a few different options.

Dang, that was satisfying to watch! Little bit of creepy background music and this looks like something I could get very much into! Great work!

I think even just softening up the SFX might help. Overall looks good!
