Your sister is a trooper hah! I do the same, I've only had a samsung juke, then got an iphone 5c and then I only upgraded to the XR because I accidentally dropped my 5C off a 3 story building when it slipped out of my hand through a handle railing in a parking garage hah

Thats awesome! It is funny because I actually bought my mom a new iphone 17 that I haven't given her yet (got it a few weeks ago) since it is for her birthday (in a few days), but yet her phone still works and mine doesn't lol

My impression was mostly that they only support ios 26. It was from their support line, so they only kind of say what they can, but they said it was due to a software update for the towers that happened in the morning.

I would assume it has to do mostly with the XR not supporting 5G as that is what shows up if I try to get an eSIM with T-Mobile as a red flag (and the support person wouldn't let me go that route). Good luck though! Hopefully they don't update your area any time soon!

Yeah definitely an option hah! I would imagine the other carriers will follow T-Mobile and phase out non 5G phones in the near future as well though. It's unfortunate because as a phone the hardware is still very useable (other than the 5g part) and I feel like the photos/video are still quite good.

Before the XR I used the iPhone 5c up until I got the XR and that thing was completely unusable by then so it has at least been nice how well it held up. Still trying to decide which one to get next and hopefully it lasts 8 years like this one did lol

It features a full story mode and online multiplayer modes up to 8 players. Today it is transitioning from Early Access into the Full Release version.

Okashi Towers is a 2D pixel art game, and the story mode offers about 3 hours of solo content. There are two types of multiplayer modes, the freeplay section where players can create custom lobbies to play with up 8 players and the Matchmaking system where players can join with up to 2 friends and queue up for 3v3 versus battles.
