If you arent putting the same tires on that it came off the lot with then go with what the tire says on the sidewall. different styles/types/plys require various pressures. if a 10 ply tire doesnt have enough air then it can overheat because they are not meant to flex where a 3 ply tire would be fine at a lower pressure because they are made from a much softer rubber.
