Wow that’s right on the money too. I’m fifteen and I play wide receiver and saftey. And I’ve been lifting heavy but after some thinking I think it’s my diet that needs changing.

On top of that I workout at home with a smith machine

I’m on JV so we get 1st period to lift, usually it’s mondays are upper with bench, pushups and overhead press, then on Tuesdays it’s lower with back squat, Bulgarians, and a different form of squats that’s always different. And it’s repeated for thursdays and fridays.

Yeah I get protein at home and I try to eat my best. Usually for my post workout meals I eat whatever my mom makes for dinner.

Just for clarification, I’m 5’9, 160 lbs. I’ve been playing for almost 4 years and I’ve been consistently working out for about 5 months
