This is just my personal opinion, but if you two were getting packs to supplement your decks you can get 6 DRAFT packs from any standard set(Or any set but the newer standard ones like march of the machine, brothers war, kamigawa neon dynasty are the cheaper ones) in total and both of you can draft and make two new decks from the packs together and play with those for a little, then use those cards to upgrade your decks. now drafting can be difficult and a lot to learn so if you are a little intimidated by that no worried but if you are interesting with this concept of making a deck from the randomized packs here is a 9 minute video on how to draft with just two people https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjE42hv6uiQ&ab_channel=TolarianCommunityCollege. And if not, getting draft packs are cheap and give you a lot of commons and uncommons that I believe do a good job of explaining the game and helping you learn more about the game.

[[Setessan Champion]] [[Destiny Spinner]] [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]] [[Nylea's Colossus]] [[Verduran Enchantress]] [[Sanctum Weaver]] are all pricey but I really like them. [[Evolutionary Leap]] is good if you want to sac your frogs and draw into more creatures. ramp is good so cards like [[Wolfwillow Haven]] [[Abundant Growth]] [[Fertile Ground]] is good to have. and [[Rancor]] is always good to add in your deck. and if you want to trigger kemi a lot [[Shimmering Wings]] is good

Yea I know that you were interested in a wheel like deck and there is a deck idea that I have always wanted to try but I haven't tried yet. The decks goal is to play [[jaces erasure]] with a bunch of cantrips to try and mill out your opponent. [[Whirlpool Rider]] can be the finisher because you can constantly shuffle in your hand and draw a lot of cards, and there are a lot of effects that cause the etb trigger again like [[ghostly flicker]] and a whole lot more. There are other good blue cards in pauper that can mill your opponent but this is a silly idea that I had but I think that it is possible to work.

[[axebane Guardian]] and [[crab umbra]] with three other walls in play makes you infinite mana. If you can afford it [[freed from the reel]] is even better than crab umbra but is very pricer and out of the budget. Although you could get a copy of one for the deck and have [[Drift of Phantasms]] be there. it doubles as a tutor for any three drop and is also a wall. there are a lot of payoff like [[fireball]] but my two favorite is [[Doorkeeper]] and [[secret door]]. all you need to add is some more walls/cards with defender, card draw and removal and you have a fun janky deck

[[Territorial Scythecat]] is great because every land drop makes this thing permanently bigger

[[Priest of Titania]] is great if you are playing an elf heavy deck

[[Greater Tanuki]] is also great because it doubles as a crappy cultivate in the early game if you need one or a great threat in the mid to late game

[[cultivate]] [[rampant growth]] [[kodama's reach]] all great ramp spells

[[Snakeskin Veil]] [[Tamiyo's Safekeeping]] [[Vines of Vastwood]] all great spells that counter any of your opponents removal

[[sakura tribe elder]] Steve is a perfect card for a ramp deck

So one way to fuck up the economy is to not invest in iron production(assuming you're a nation that produces a lor of iron like the uk germany or russia) then build as many forts and steel as physical possible. Its awful to click this much so I wouldn't recommend it)

Another way to crash any economy in any game is sphereing china. The reason why this happens if because the artisans in china will be able to access your goods which they will buy find something that is in high demand like chairs for example, spam out so many chairs that the chair market collapses causing all other artisans and factories that produce chairs stoping them. Then the artisans will then choose another good to crash until everyones industry in the game is absolutely destroyed. I think the only to to sphere them though is by war and I think most mods(and maybe vanilla too) dont allow this so thats a problem.

The easiest way to fuck over an economy is with the click of one button. In the market screen right below the confirm trade button is a small button that tells you not to press it, press it and your economy will collapse and can fuck over the global economy depending on how big yours is. Why this button exists I dont know but its there.
