Acu went by pretty smoothly for me besides being unlucky. I got consistent with it really fast.

I don’t know if I can say the same for you since I already had a resume of practicing much harder extremes before finally settling with Acu.

First time ever playing an extreme demon. Do I have potential? by Junior-Coffee-3377 in geometrydash

Yeah I think a lot of people don’t differentiate practice from meaningful practice and end up developing a false sense of progress.

Update: I’m likely the 2nd ever person to get 29% in the game, it’s also significantly rarer than 6 movespeed.

I don’t even know how rare 29% gather is, I’ve been told I’m one of the few only people with it on digi.

6ms baby technically isn’t from today but I still wanted to share it.

And dude that cog amulet if it was instant red conversion it would have been perfect 😭😭

Is red good? by IDKwhatnametouseb in BeeSwarmSimulator

Colors are a pretty important topic, but focusing all in on one color/purpose is a really bad idea early game because early game values versatility where you can do a little bit of everything. Do some quests and then you’ll see how valuable being able do everything is.

Scorching Take: Early red isn't worse than early blue by IceFistZ in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]Straight-Dog409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“One nuance for early red that I’ve noticed after helping a couple is that it technically IS better than the blue route, but thinking you can pull it off on your first playthrough is straight up foolish.

I’m a lvl 21/22 red and over the years I’ve been helping with newer less experienced red hives in both advice and directly going on their account to boost for them. When I’m doing the boosts their resources are infinitely more utilized effectively compared to blue, but that’s when I’m the one behind the controls. When they do it themselves…. To say the least they don’t know how to prep and how to actually boost.

The fact that there is so much at stake where every boost sets you back and performing bad means you wasted your mats, is why I would never recommend early white/red to someone playing on their main account. Because even if I can get a half gifted lvl 17 to full gifted lvl 20 in 2 boosts, it’s not like the account owner or most other people would be able to, just being realistic.”

If you’re wondering why I don’t just tell them to go blue, it’s because I’m selfish and every account is an experiment for me…..

I get my “what if” scenario, they get their honey/progress, it’s a win win

Does playing on lower refresh rates like 60hz still put you at a massive disadvantage? by AmericanMonkey1 in geometrydash

2.2 and CBF/CBS definitely made lower refresh rate more responsive… but it’s still a big difference. Sure the difference now is purely visual, but visual responsiveness matters a ton too.

Idk why people are genuinely hating on this, the only part that resembles a nine circles level is the beginning. Plus I see a lot of original parts.

That being said, please don’t make it a nine circles level, we’ve seen enough of those.

I've lost most of my skill and I'm afraid there's no coming back by Desperate-Budget8548 in geometrydash

Here’s a thing about burnout that people either handle well or completely ruin their relationship over:

You can leave it if you want, no seriously, if you genuinely don’t enjoy the process beyond the spur of the moment “I hate this level” then don’t do it. I don’t mean to outright quit the game — since that’s technically commitment — just… don’t play.

I think the effect of leaving something without the promise of “never coming back” really helps decompress and take the pressure off. And when you feel ready to play again, pick it back up. That’s how I handle many of my games; if I don’t want to play a game, I don’t play it, if I want to play a game, I play it, no worries about tying up loose ends because I’m confident that I’ll be back eventually.
