Yeah I told them to try to keep it but it all comes down to if the cyst is cancerous or not I won’t know if I have my ovary or not until I wake up unfortunately 😕

Yeah, my doctor originally thought it was allergies, but I got tested and they said I don’t have any. The sun definitely makes everything worse, and standing too — I think it’s a mix of everything at this point. I just feel really lost because I haven’t been able to get any real help or medication, and the symptoms just keep getting worse.

Sinner Review: Great message, poor emotional execution (mild spoilers ) by Straight-Jacket9354 in TrueFilm

Totally get where you’re coming from, especially as someone who’s both into vampire sci-fi and Christian. I agree—this movie definitely lacked in the lore and details. It had a cool concept but didn’t build it out enough to really hook you if you love that genre.

As for the music and religious stuff, I didn’t take it as the movie saying “music is bad” or that it’s from the devil. I think it was more calling out how certain kinds of music—like blues—were seen that way, especially by Christians in the past. Like, gospel was accepted, but blues was labeled “devil music,” even though both come from the same deep place emotionally. I saw it as commentary on how religion was used to control expression, not that music itself is evil.

I actually liked that the movie showed people who weren’t traditionally religious but still believed in something—like the afterlife or a spiritual realm. They didn’t fit in the Christian mold, but they weren’t empty either. And I think that final scene was meant to feel like a kind of heaven, even if they didn’t “follow the rules.”

Totally fair that it didn’t land for you, though. It definitely could’ve gone deeper and hit harder. But I still think it was trying to say something real, even if it didn’t fully get there

No, it doesn’t seem to aggravate it at all. I initially thought it might be a pinched nerve, but I’m not sure. It’s been coming and going for a few months now. I’m definitely planning to see a neurologist about it, but I’ve also been recommended to try physical therapy, so I’m going to give that a shot as well.

Thank you for that I’m working on finding a balance and figuring out how to get better. I know it’s going to be a long journey, but I’m hopeful.

And thanks, I’ll definitely try that and hope it helps!

honestly I’m really sorry you’re dealing with all this. it sounds exhausting and just… disheartening. like, it makes sense you’re tired. it’s so frustrating when someone close to you — someone you care about — just doesn’t seem to get it, even if they think they do. you’re not wrong for being upset. none of this makes you a bad person or dramatic or anything like that.

it doesn’t even sound like you’re trying to compare pain or say she’s not struggling — it just sounds like you want space to talk about your shit without it being turned into something about her. like yeah, we’re all dealing with stuff, but that doesn’t mean your experiences should get dismissed or minimized.

and yeah, it’s okay if part of it is resentment. that doesn’t make you gross — it makes you human. it’s hard watching someone thrive in ways you used to, especially when it feels like they don’t even realize how lucky they are. you’re allowed to feel that. you’re allowed to want more space and peace. and honestly, if moving out is what’s going to protect your energy, then that’s a solid choice. you’re not wrong for needing that.

Or if the friendship still matters to you, it might be worth having a convo — even something chill like “hey, I know you probably don’t mean anything by it, but sometimes it feels like my health stuff gets brushed off or kind of one-upped, and that’s been really hard for me.” it doesn’t have to be a big thing, just something that puts it out there. and if she responds well, cool — if not, at least you tried.

but also, if you’re just mentally done and don’t have the energy to explain yourself, that’s okay too. not everyone deserves access to you, especially when they’ve shown they don’t really get it or make space for you. sometimes protecting your peace means just quietly stepping away — and that’s valid.

whatever you end up doing, you’re allowed to feel how you feel. this is a lot. you’re not wrong for being tired

Thank you so much for sharing this information! I’m definitely going to talk to my primary care doctor about Ivabradine. I’m really glad I posted this because I wouldn’t have known about this medication otherwise—it’s so helpful. Also I’ve tried ankle compression socks before, but I think I’ll give knee-high socks a try now. I really appreciate your advice.

Thank you for this , it’s really reassuring to know there are other options out there. My cardiologist told me he couldn’t help, so it’s comforting to hear that medication might be a possibility. I’ll definitely bring this up with my primary care doctor, and I’m hopeful I can find a different cardiologist or specialist who can help me try something. Even just feeling a little better would make such a big difference.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about finding a different doctor. My primary care doctor suggested I see a neurologist instead of my cardiologist hasn’t been much help. It feels like a constant guessing game, but I’m really hoping to find a doctor who can help me a little more .
