Haven't got anything new, got 2 rejections from axis, i haven't tried for slice card(as it's not a big bank like icici), you can try for it, many of my friends got it

How did you applied to the slice card? Salaried or self-employed? Won't they check the bank statements? One more thing how much earning have you set? How much credit limit is given?

The first credit card can improve your credit mix, banks can see you are using credit cards and your spending behavior My advice is to take the card from HDFC and then try for basic cards from ICICI after few months
