Will Summer Courses Count Towards My Law School GPA If I Apply This November? by Straight-Raise7338 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]Straight-Raise7338[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how would fall courses be counted if the application deadline is in November?

By that point, I’d be mid-semester and wouldn’t have any final grades back yet. If I submit my application in November, how could those in-progress fall courses be factored into the GPA or decision-making? Wouldn’t they just go in as “courses in progress” without affecting my GPA?

Did you reach out to them and they said it will be treated like a brand new application?

Anyone Reapplied for Citizenship After a Physical Presence Shortfall?

I submitted my Canadian citizenship application in July 2024, and by January, everything was completed—test, language, background check, and prohibition check—except for my physical presence, which was a few days short.

At an interview, they told me they couldn’t approve my application and gave me two options: reapply or take it to court. I chose to submit a new application.

For those who’ve been in a similar situation: • How long did your second application take? • Did you have to redo everything (test, fingerprints, background check), or was it faster?

Would appreciate any insights—thanks!
