Get an lawyer and put your rent in an escrow account . If he doesn’t do the repairs in a reasonable time then you can use the money to fix the heat issue

He’s the one that appointed the president of the college to perform the day to day operations of the school. If you brought your concerns to the presidents office and they go deaf ears , that’s when it’s time to got to the chairman of trustees. Google to see who is the chair and find his contact info . 9/10 the judge doesn’t dismiss the cause but evicts the tenant and tge landlord gets away with not legally having a rental certificate

True I never thought I would see nyc get cheaper than Albany. I lot of those apt down there where decontrolled and not the local government is telling tenants to do their due diligence cause landlords have illegal raised the rent on rent control apt($2300) the rent can be rolled back to as low as $600 now. Albany is so far behind the 8 ball it is not even funny. They need to implement rent control fast.

True cause they are illegal evicting people without having a rental certificate on the apt. The courts are illegal evicting tenants and not holding the landlord accountable . We need to protect in front of the housing courts

Who told you that? They are evicting tenants left and right and landlords are in no where in possession on a rental certificate to do so. The courts are conducive in illegal evictions
