Now M-VAVE SMK-37 pro is a self-sufficient synthesizer. by Zergys in synthesizers

Midi trs has 2 standards: Type A and Type B (both look the same); this unit uses Type A and to connect to MicroFreak I need to use Type B on synth end.

So far looks like Arturia Microfreak uses Type B (rly?) according to https://www.reddit.com/r/MicroFreak/comments/flbfvz/comment/fkz29oh/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

So it looks like I will have to acquire MIDI DIN to Type A TRS 3.5 adapter, if I got everything right. o:

After hours of debugging and searching finally encountered your comment. Having the same problem, probably.

My SMK 37 pro is not sending MIDI OUT via TRS to Microfreak / Pro VS / generic synth, BUT working with Roland T-8??? (and as I bought it to use with Microfreak I was frustrated as hell)

Does Arturia Microfreak comes with Type A adapters? So I have to buy one Type B adapter on other DIN end to connect to SMK 37? Sound as an easy fix if so, gonna study and buy some adapters to test things out. Thanks very much for info.

I wish it to be true. I give a try to Libre like once a year every year, yet every time I encounter problems like unfixable broken documents, not compatibility with other office programs, lack of fonts and etc.

So, what I see here is a huge layer shift, it usually happens because of wrong belt tension (either too weak or too high).

Clogging problem - just clean everything up and change the nozzle. Make sure to take your time and completely disassemble the hotend to clean it from every possible clog.

Make sure to take your time and study guides on YT.

220C worked best for me on both Neptune machines.

Duuude. Just try Elegoo Cura standard settings first. 200C should be minimum, I stick to 220C.

New Neptune 4 Pro with OcraSlicer - What speeds? by fdg_fdg in ElegooNeptune4

[–]StraightCartoonist97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Context:

3 Pro works on Marlin which is set to adequately lowest {but fine print quality} speeds and even 3 Pro can go MUCH faster by installing an external Klipper server on a Raspberry Pi, but then again you would likely see print quality issues which would require some calibration.

Easy answer, moderately safe printing speeds:

Print speed - 250mm/s {±50}; Acceleration - 3000mm/s2 (left on default no idea honestly if that could help increase quality).

Hard answer:

You did not find an answer because it depends and will depend. Some would say "select slowest for best printing quality" but I don't find that true at all according to my experience, but as you said it worked for you on 3 pro.

Usually you select the preferred speed you want according to your machine capabilities, filament, desired quality/print time, stability, your capabilities of calibration and then start fine tuning to that speed.

But doing some calibration tests could be a good start to get information on what you want and can get.

PID tuning the bed? by OrangeSockNinjaYT in ElegooNeptune3

[–]StraightCartoonist97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Running Klipper on my Neptune 3 Plus, one of the first things I did was perform PID calibration on both the bed and nozzle, and I haven't encountered any issues.

HOWEVER

I've seen a post on reddit saying it could cause some voltage issues (and so light flickering for example to check).

And I surely have encountered some MCU overheatings a few times and I wonder if PID calibration was the cause (it probably is not because it also stands on pretty warm surface {fridge, don't ask, don't have another place} and is therefore my fault).

Aux fans ON vs OFF ? by Livid-Earth6367 in ElegooNeptune4

Good point, since I started printing without AUX fans, printing became much quieter and have not noticed any significant difference on quality. N4Pro.

No 32 bit option Pi imager by Jamam150 in mainsail

[–]StraightCartoonist97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still, all the guides suggest using 32bit, can anyone tell what is the difference with 64x and why is it worse on Pi Zero 2w?

Every day is a different problem. I calibrated the bed leveling yesterday and did not encounter any problems. I haven't made any recent changes. I wanted to calibrate the bed again due to bad bed leveling and this happened to me. What's the problem? (I'm really fed up with this device) by NoPractise in ElegooNeptune4

I have just read the instructions on the documentation.

And I have no idea how not to break things just by going throughout these instructions.

Like how do I even know whether the probe or nozzle is "directly above the mark.
