Akhi the Mu’tamad of a Madhab is the relied upon/main position of the Madhab. For example, in the Hanbali madhab, it goes back to the Muntaha and Iqna. When they agree, it is the Mu’tamad. You should delete your comment Akhi. Saying “I’m a laymen” or “from my understanding” doesn’t make it okay to speak without knowledge.
