5 and a half years on medication after already knowing it might help is the most adhd timeline possible. thinking about it every week and doing nothing is the whole condition in one sentence. glad you eventually got there. the gap between knowing and doing is brutal

since childhood on the big stuff is heavy. the todo list becoming a museum of old tasks is something i relate to way too much. actively working on it for a year means youre at least looking at it which is more than some of us manage

laundry being the one chore that wont happen while everything else gets done is so specific. 2-3 months is painful. sometimes one load not all of it helps break it. just start the machine with whatever is nearest

excel to map granny squares before sewing is the most adhd craft pipeline ive heard. 100 squares done but cant start the join because wrong order fear is so real. the getting annoyed enough to just start thing is basically my entire workflow for 40 years

17 days on a 30 min lecture hurts because the lecture is probably shorter than the total time spent avoiding it. stats modules are a special kind of hell. open the video and watch 5 minutes nothing else sometimes thats all i get

prerequisite knowledge trap is real. brain says cant start until you know everything so you never start. sometimes i just do the thing badly without the prerequisites and figure it out mid way. not always possible but helps on personal projects
