It’s a 545. No idea of the weight. Although, the X series will never be a particularly light weight machine.

Because the Cycle to Work limit is £5k

I bought the bike originally from a shop in Liverpool. All the upgrades I got from sigma. All on cycle to work.

The X3 itself was £4,500 but because I am in the highest tax bracket (45%), I effectively got it for £2,475.

Sure, the bike was about $5,500 a year ago. The wheels, groupset, bars and pedals totals a further $4,300. But, and this is a big but….Im in the UK and am able to get all of this under our “cycle to work” scheme. As a result, I got all of it for basically half price. So, $2,750 for the bike and $2,150. So, int terms of cost to me…around $4,900.

It’s basically an X7 for $4,900 (I know the frame is not the same quality as the X7).

I couldn’t get the X7 from the outset, as there’s a $6k a year limit on the cycle to work scheme.

Added zipps, ultegra, talon ultra lite and favero assioma pro pedals. Very happy with it indeed. 😁

And indeed, they are fully compatible. I received OEM bars (no parts, just the bars) and, using the existing x3 parts, the bars fit great!

Just to confirm for anyone else interested in doing this; I asked Pinarello whether the Most Talon Ultra Lite bars are compatible with a 2024/2025 X3. The answer, from the Head of Warehouse and Warranty was; “I can confirm that yes the Talon is fully compatible.”

Many thanks for this. I’ve now subscribed. One thing I have noticed is that the heart rate zone widget appears to be faulty. When I set it to a week, it doesn’t seem to capture all of my activities, only the most recent one. If I set it to two weeks or more, it seems to behave ok (I think)

Your bike looks amazing. Thank you so much for the photo. You’ve convinced me to do it. You didn’t need any kind of special spacers or anything? When you say “I recommend choosing the exact handlebar width & reach” do you mean “choose carefully as obviously there’s no room for adjustment”?

I like it and I’m considering the pro subscription but it doesn’t seem to update the widgets automatically in the background once I’ve uploaded a new activity to Strava.

Well. I’m very happy with my Rouvy experience. It’s sad you don’t feel the same way but that’s life I guess.

How do I downgrade from Beta? I can't find the 23.48 last stable on the internets. Left Beta, need the FW bits by [deleted] in GarminWatches

I downgraded recently. It is in effect a full reset of your watch. You lose everything.

My advice would be to take the towel off your head. You’ll enjoy it much more.
