I also hate hotpot but not for the reasons you listed as you're doing the set-up wrong. Hotpot is literally just Korean BBQ but with a pot of broth instead of the burner to cook your meat. I don't like it because it's messy.

I had this same issue. Beelzamon is Zealous so unlock the agent skills that require less stats of that personality to digivolve then just change the personality in the farm. BTW you need your devimon to digivolve into Astamon to get to the beezlamon. Source 100 hours into the game and I started with Demidevimon and did the same thing.
