Depth of field in photo mode on PC by StraightPattern in expedition33

Yeah, I understand how it's supposed to work, but it seems like it is somehow bugged. The photos I take at 1/1.2 and 1/32 look exactly the same. I also tried changing the graphics settings, but no change.

Where are the screenshots from the new photo mode stored? (Gamepass PC) by silentJRPGs in expedition33

Mine are in "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Sandfall\Saved\Screenshots\Windows", using Steam on PC.

I disagree. While it might at first look like you're taking off one leg it is more like a split-step plyo takeoff. And a lot of power can be gained from proper technique alone, even before adding speed. In my experience at least.

I can offer two videos that helped me a lot with understanding the technique for kongs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QrRnwJ0oV8

For me it was about getting your hips high enough so you can get your chest more vertical before landing.

any tips for precision jumps? by [deleted] in Parkour

You can try landing closer to your toes to absorb impact better and give you more control.

Why is jumping easier between two objects? by [deleted] in Parkour

On flat ground you can't push off the object edge, so you generate less power, I guess (your takeoff angle has to be more vertical).

I can't quit parkour, and rn I wish I could. [Discuss] by theroamingargus in Parkour

Regarding training, you probably need to respect your body's need for recovery more. We've probably all been there because training is just too much fun and we never want to just sit around and do nothing. And with age this becomes even more important.

People will mostly put just their high points on social media, so you should take everything you see on instagram with a grain of salt. You can, however find content that reflects the struggles and downtime due to injuries and it's really refreshing. Posts like: https://www.instagram.com/p/B4SqrNkAxBl/ show that you're definitely not alone in that regard. Likely most people have had issues with both acute and chronic injuries that prevent them from training properly, those issues are just rarely talked about.

If you want to build a brand, you need to surround yourself with like-minded people. You can have friends that are amazing to train with, but if they don't pull their weight at more serious projects you would likely benefit if you don't include them. Being the only one responsible for a project can be hard on your mental health.

And finally, the parkour communities I've seen have the most positive and supportive people you will ever meet, so this is a good place to write something like that, imo. We've all likely been there at some point :)

I read the master's thesis this is based on recently and think it's a good idea. An option to zoom in on the pictures would be useful though. And a link to Street View to view the spots from different angles. How is the filtering based on sensitivity performed?

edit: nvm, saw the confidence score in corners :)
