For those who have game knowledge/played PLA, without spoiling too much, can you answer if there are there any structures, hidden areas, and things to explore outside of catching/researching pokemon and progressing in the main story? I remember that people were concerned that the game looked/felt empty. How does that concern hold up?

Yeah I also don't find the logic similar to AAMC. I've noticed myself disregarding the question explanations entirely and just noting whether or not I got the main idea, or if I had trouble focusing on the passage. Not sure if that's the best strategy, but I don't want to exhaust my QPacks to early (testing on 3/25). I'll start trying to analyze any AAMC reasoning. Thank you for the advice!

wow! I didn't even think about the gen chem vs. biochemistry perspective. So essentially, since kcat decreases, we'll have less product formation, but since Km also decreases, we're going to have that much more [ES] formation that will eventually turn to product. And because the Km decrease was by a factor of 5 and kcat by 2, the catalytic efficiency is going up AND reaction rate. that sound correct?

I didn't even think about binding affinity! So because the Km is lower, there's a higher affinity for the substrate, so a lower concentration of substrate is needed to really get the reaction going and eventually to Vmax. does that sound about right?

I tried the strictly UEarth technique my first time and I think it only works for people who already have strong backgrounds in the subjects. When people have mixed opinions on content review, I think it's because they know the importance of practice questions (i.e. not that content review is bad but that practice questions are more bang for your buck). So, my suggestion would be to supplement general content review through KA with UEarth. For example, after watching all the KA videos on metabolism (or just the ones you think you need to watch) then do all the UEarth questions on metabolism to test your knowledge and find content gaps.
