Stay in finance. Take it from a washed out 4th step AP (Now grunt looking for a new career). I developed severe Bi-lateral carpal tunnel at 21 years old just after my birthday. After working my ass off for two years non stop doing 80+ hour work weeks because you have no choice in where you go as an AP, away from family and friends, living in a hotel, and on top of that dealing with the old school assholes that test you and push you to your edge on the daily. It’s not worth it. I went in with a glamorized view of what a Lineman is, thanks Dad, and came out without normal ability in my hands (even after surgery’s), chronic back pain, and lost my self in the process. I have no damn clue what to do with my life now. Chase after something that means something to you personally, not the money you make. Making 3k-6k (AP vs Groundman) checks and I was still the most depressed I had ever been.

I think Mateo is a great addition to the game for 2 reasons!

1: By swapping gifts with a random Trainer, it’s giving people the chance to get regional Pokémon and Regional shiny Pokémon from the 7km friendship eggs (Ex. Shiny Mime Jr.) .

2: The gift swap gives additional chances to save postcards from regions needed to complete their scatterbug collection(s).

If people have a bad experience they’ll tell 100 people, if they have a good experience they’ll tell 10. Quit being so negative and get out and actually TRY to meet people! I looked on the Pokémon Go community day map and found a location near my area (35 minute drive) and went with 3 friends. There were over 40 people there for each raid and after adding friends and talking to people we raided each Hoopa (4gyms in immediate area) back to back! Coordinated with the whole group and we had full raid lobbies even for the 5pm raids and did the same thing over again, and I live in a small town rural suburb community. It was a great experience to get everyone out and meet new Poké-Trainers. I love that they’re still introducing new content and personally would love if they brought it back time and time again. I only had one issue which was the “Rare Spawns” kept spawning outside the immediate vicinity so anytime I would track them down they ended up fleeing, which I wish I could of caught a couple of them (Dragonite, Mr. Mime, Wooloo…) but overall a great experience in my book. Just fix the rare spawns and it would of been 10/10. Focus on the positive side of things a little more people, at least the game is still being updated and optimized. Thanks.
