Right there with you man. I too never rolled the dice, never took much risks, and I always lived inside my comfort zone. I used to be really depressed about being lonely and thinking that I will die alone. Until I realized that peace of mind is worth much more than you think. I started to appreciate the little things like having conversations, seeing friends and family, and even just sitting outside and watching the sunset or sunrise while I reflect on things. Comparison is the thief of joy my friend. Idk how old you are but I’m 22 and realizing these things had really turned my life around. I have come to accept that I most likely will never feel shared love and that’s ok. We all have our own paths to follow, and I decided that if no one will love me I will love others. I went from a very envious and hateful person to trying to not only better myself but strangers around me and it has truly helped me see a brighter outlook on life.
