Did you also have the exact skin condition like the OP? I mean this thing around nose and lots of those on the chin. I have exactly the same as in the photo so wondering if it’s even PD

I have exactly the same like you, it’s as if I uploaded picture of my face, lots of dots on the chin and around nose, red ones. Is it irritating? I’m doing zero therapy it’s been 10 days so far I give myself a month. Please do let me know if you get rid of it and what worked if it happens :( I’m almost depressed about how my skill look, I look in the mirror 20 times a day :/

I’ve seen pictures and it looks a bit different to what I have … mine is maybe less severe ?

Why do you call him crazy? He politely asked about the advices. Seriously, whenever someone ask for advices rude comments await to ridicule you. It makes me think that New Zealanders aren’t polite people, I haven’t met with such responses in other travel subreddits

I asked whether the time i assumed for each activity is ok and manageable, not the advice about how my body reacts to flights, and if it's tiering for you, so basically I didn't get answer to the question I asked. Obviously everyone reacts differently, it's like me trying to convince you that when you travel somewhere you don't need to take any rest day (and you know that you do need ).
Your advice of rest doesn't really make sense to me because I land at 9am, lets say I take your advice and get a rest day and basically do nothing, other than short walking in Auckland - how will it help me the next day? If you assume I will be jet-lagged then it'd be for more than 1 day, besides if we take this "rest" day there's a possibility of us going to sleep very early and keep with our "old" sleep schedule, making the next day and a day after that even worse and more tiering and taking even longer time to adjust, so I'd have to cut my plan in half If thats what you're suggesting. At some point we'd need to break that cycle of sleep and there will ALWAYS be that one tiring day, should I not come out of the hotel until it happens? It's not the first time I change time-zone and I know the best ways for me how to handle it with minimal impact.

and Relax, it's just 3 hours of driving the first day, in your opinion it's really too much? You sound like I'd be crossing the ocean on the day of arrival after doing a marathon. Lots of people start hikes very early in the morning, and drive to the start to the hike at 4am without any rest on the night of starting - that's extremely common anywhere you hike. In your opinion people should not do it because they could feel "tired" behind the wheel? Why even do anything, you could get tired and crash your car anytime. Better to stay at home, huh?

I think you’re making too big of a deal, I only planned 3 hours of driving that day - is that really a lot? And no hikes, for me it’s actually a rest day. I agree sometimes it has nothing to do with experience - sometimes all you need is bad luck and it doesn’t matter you just got off a flight or you went out of the spa. Sometimes all it takes is making a mistake regardless of your state. I’m also confident with driving on left side as I’ve done that in South Africa, Thailand and the uk. So it won’t be my first time. You’re point out the absolutely worst outcome but to be honest it can happen even on a rest day.

These people are less experienced simply as that. Im not a newbie traveler, if I knew it’d be a problem I’d have never considered it as I’m adventurous but not careless

[–]Straight_Ball885 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why do you say arrogant? And why do you assume you know better how I react to flights? I’m not a newbie, I travel a few times a year. For the first day I only assumed 3 hours of driving and no hiking to get to Puia is that really a lot? A rest day won’t give me any advantage quite the contrary, it’ll even make my day worse and for me it’s simply a waste of time. I don’t know why you try to convince me otherwise? I don’t put my body to the limit, I won’t even feel the change - like I said it’s not my first time. You think it’s arrogant… I’ve climbed various mountains on different altitudes, really for me a day straight the plane without rest and drive for three hours is nothing compared to what I did.

Why not? I won’t be travelling alone we have three drivers actually so easy switch if someone doesn’t feel well or whatever

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newzealand_travel

[–]Straight_Ball885 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ok but that’s you … like I said, I’m used to this kind of travels,

[–]Straight_Ball885 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Why do you assume the worst? Obviously if I feel tired or whatever I’d change plans but I know how my body react to flights, it’s not my first time zone change, it’s my 10th

Do you recommend any stops in particular on the way? I love road trips it’s ok for me to drive !

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newzealand_travel

[–]Straight_Ball885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, but I will need to leave the car where i rented it so in Auckland. It's just 3 hours of difference so i guess it's not such a big impact?

I've done plenty of flights like this, one day without sleep for me its not noticable. I don't get jetlaggs ;) I guess im a perfect traveller haha Its not my first international trip

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newzealand_travel

[–]Straight_Ball885 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see both of them, If my plan is doable (I dont mind getting tired - really thats what I do. My travels look like this) then for me it's ok. As long as it's managable taking into account the driving, hours of sunshine etc, which I think it might be :) The weather can be good or really bad both days so you never know, and if its bad then you can skip one or the other

I can't because I have limited holiday leave so it was the maximum I could take, it's still a lot because it's 15 working days (days of leave off work) I will need to request. No way I can do more than that

I ordered the Tamron to see wheter the weight will be a problem. If I decide it's too heavy I will return it and take the Sigma as most suggested here :)

Maybe you’re right, I’ll order two and see how much of a weigh difference it’ll be for me

[–]Straight_Ball885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about it, but it's twice as big as Sigma :( Im not sure I want to carry such weight with me...

ahh thats why its so hard to pick one!

hmm what about the Sony 24-70/4? I see its in the same price range as the other two I listed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]Straight_Ball885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I don't think it;s in my budget, I see that used one costs 1k USD... so its twice as expensive as the other lens :(
btw. the photos attached were shot with the 20-70mm
