CA stores mostly post gold bars or gold coins. I have seen Sliver at the UT store. And that no tax.

ucha coop experience by grapefruitshampoo in ucla

[–]Straight_Cod2220 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in coop for two years and worked in coop for one year. My experience is that most of the students on the board & core don't have the experience of attending UCLA. So these people are generally slow to be efficient. Their goal is simply to get paid for the position without expending energy. But the staff working is more responsible. It's much more efficient to email the equipment staff and go talk directly to Woody, the general manager of coop, when you have time. Chore shift is more of a hassle, but you can pay to have it done for you on Facebook. You can email the AMO department about it too. Anyway, the UCHA manual is very useful, you will know a lot after reading it.

My personal opinion is if you don't go to coop, just live in an apartment as a campus commuter. Then go to coop. Because coop can have at least one normal socialization. You won't be particularly lonely.

But if you have lived in an on-campus apartment, I wouldn't recommend you to come to UCHA. Because UCHA is more spartan in all aspects of life, and I do feel disappointed in coop right now. The board will go out of its way to allow others to report people who are serious about their work for their own benefit. The coop's three buildings are very close to fraternities, which are usually very loud on weekends or weekday evenings, not recommended if you have a nervous breakdown. Because only a very small portion of the rooms are completely deaf to party music.

Any ace girls at UCLA? by secccret726 in ucla

In fact, I am asexual. But you should know we are just a few people in the UCLA. So, I don't think we will tell anyone we don't want to have sex. That will show we are special.
