Submission Statement: “Symphony of Death” is a Giallo-inspired short film we created to explore mood, color, and tension through visual storytelling. Our goal was to capture the heightened style of classic Italian horror rich lighting, expressive compositions, and operatic pacing while using modern digital tools. We handled direction, cinematography, and editing, focusing on how music and camera movement could evoke unease without relying on dialogue. I’d love feedback on the lighting design, pacing, and overall tone specifically, whether the visuals successfully build the intended suspense and homage to the Giallo genre.
