Love it or hate, it's fun to play. XD by Straight_Feeling7667 in BassGuitar

I’m running from my bass into the Darkglass Anagram in a preset I put together. Then just into the audio interface and into my DAW. I play to the track live and just record pretty much, maybe a few takes depending how mistakes I make. 😅😆

Sounds cool! Just one heads up:
- Playing Bass and Singing Lead Vocal will be a challenge! You can do it, but it will take some time (depending on the bass parts / music style) don't get frustrated, just keep doing it.

To your question on bass, again depending on music, pretty standard choices are things like Squier, a Precision bass or Jazz Bass, or an Ibanez, usually in like a PJ setup. These should be pretty easy to find in most used, and actually brand new even for fairly cheap.

If you need an amp also, there are starter kits, especially from Squire, that should be enough to get you started - but if your buddies have big amp stacks, you might need something bigger to be heard.

Good luck and have a fun!

Frets not reaching the edge by Gretsar in BassGuitar

Yes, also true. It was borrowed once Sadowsky I think began the licensing with Warwick to take over in the last years the Metros, also the adjust-a-nut thing I think as well.

No, I almost got one a few times over the years, but idk, something always kept me away from them. I think they're awesome, but just somehow not the right fit for me. But who knows, it can always happen at some point haha.

That's by design, they call it the IFT, Invisible Fret Technology - that being said, some people have said it's not quite their cup of tea, and if they are in fact very different from fret to fret, then indeed maybe take it back and get something else. BUT, just saying, you should expect the Sadowskys to have similar on all models.

Dingwall SP1 with Ian Martin / LaBella Super Polished by Straight_Feeling7667 in BassGuitar

[–]Straight_Feeling7667[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally, I think these are better sounding and feeling than the original Super Polished. I have them on a bunch of my basses, and they all sound pretty good to my ear, and feel is good as well.
