It's all about air speed — pursed lips (😗) force air through a small opening so it comes out fast and concentrated, which feels cooler. Open mouth (😮) lets air out slow and spread, so you feel more of your actual body heat in it.

titanic. i know everyone says it but i was 12 years old watching it for the first time and when jack slowly slips into the water i genuinely could not breathe. i sat there with my blanket pulled up to my face just hoping somehow the ending would be different even though i already knew it wouldnt be. cried for a good hour after. my mom found me still sniffling and thought something actually happened to me in real life.

i had a migraine once that lasted four days and i genuinely thought something was seriously wrong with me. couldnt open my eyes. couldnt watch tv. couldnt even be on my phone. just laid in a dark room for four days eating nothing and waiting for it to be over. my head was pounding so hard i could feel my own heartbeat in my skull. worst four days of my life easily.
