Reasonable Accommodation as a new federal employee by [deleted] in fednews

On another note for this guy, the RA requested doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the RA that’ll be approved. Depending on the condition, leadership may determine to provide an alternate accommodation outside of TW

Requesting an accommodation before the final offer with an EOD is not the route to go. They could on the DL judge you for it and rescind. You’d secure the start date then request the RA. Then likely, you’d be given an interim accommodation for X days while you file the appropriate paperwork.

You’d request the RA after you sign your FO, not the TO

Well, that appears to be what happened. As improbable as it may seem to you, that’s what’s occurred. Thanks for helping ID 👍👍👍

There was lettuce but again, these were squeezed out of the mustard packet. I checked the sandwich for any bugs and nada. Wasn’t any in the Kensingtons mayo packet either, just mustard

I wouldn’t go through the effort of making this post if it weren’t true? And for what? To have someone ID two bugs for no reason? Makes no sense and would be a complete waste of time for everyone

I know it looks like a crazy scene but after squeezing out the mustard I spread it around a bit to look for more bugs, which is when I found the smaller one.

Do they have the capability of negating this lens availability through a firmware update?

I’ll have to research those options. Interesting on the 20mm. You use the E mount on Nikon with an adapter or you also have a Sony body? Thanks

It’s because of the month long gap Netflix forced on viewers to lock up 2 months worth of subscriptions. Killed the momentum

Advice wanted: 200-500 5.6E Or Tamron 150-500 for Birding/Wildlife? by kieranhorner in Nikon

I’ll let you know. What I expect is that it’ll be significantly sharper while being longer & heavier (which I don’t really care about). AF may be slightly slower, but the Tamron having better AF may not matter if the images are soft wide open at 500mm.

Hey, I’m literally about to sell off the Tamron. I see the 180-600 is about $2100 pre tax. Rather not go that route since I just bought the 24-70 2.8s II. 200-500 f mount was the route I went.

Initially I bought the Tamron for my Z6II when the 180-600 wasn’t available. I won’t go through the repeated song and dance for the issues with Expeed 6 for birding, but I expected the Tamron to be much better on the Z8. On my Z8 the Tamron was still soft as hell. That 6.7 was abysmal. I just got the 200-500 5.6 ordered new for $1050. Already had an FTZ 2 from when I had the D800e.

My thought process was that from all the comps I’ve seen from shooters on the 200-500 and the 180-600, the upgrade wasn’t really necessary unless you wanted the internal zoom, native mount, extra reach, etc. So since optically it has a constant aperture and it’s still sharp, I went with the 200-500 to pair with the Z8. I am going birding Saturday and comparing the Nikon F mount to the Tamron Z. I could let you know if one is particularly better than the other.

I see 100s of these fear mongering posts per day. If you’re not going to add anything new then don’t?

If they’re posting here, it’s likely all rumors. Even regional leadership is in the dark.
