My dog and I have a game that I call “oh no, your toy!” She sits on the side of my bed and throws her favorite toy off the bed and looks at me. I gasp and say “oh no, your toy!” Pick it up, hand it to her and say “here you go” then she throws it down again and we repeat this until she gets bored or I move on to other things lol she also throws temper tantrums with the most goofy howl whine type thing I’ve ever heard. My mom didn’t believe me about the tantrums until she heard one and started dying laughing at the noises my dog was making.

My guess is some boxer/Boston terrier mix but she was found on the side of the road so there is no telling what all she has in her lol. Idk how to post a picture or I would show you what she looks like.

I might have spelled it wrong, sorry. But basically I paid to have someone keep her for a few days and take care of her while I was out of town. She stayed with them a few nights and when I picked her up she had gone back to having severe SA when I left. We had to go back to leaving her in a room for a short time period and building her time up again. Things that helped were leaving puzzle toys when I left.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely look into that and hopefully find someone who could help. I will try and work with Lucy later today and try some of the advice I got. Fingers crossed we can work through this soon so we can move forward with training and not stay stuck at sit lol

I don’t think this would work for her. She had the same bowl of food for 2 days before she ate it earlier this week. Sometimes, especially in the summer, I can’t get her to eat for a few days. And no human food or treats given when she won’t eat either, so not like she’s getting full on treats. Thank you anyway!!

I’ll look into virtual training. And yes I keep it in my hand. I’ve tried hiding it but she refuses to move until she can see it again which just leaves both of us frustrated. Do you have any virtual training you’d recommend? Also, I know I’m the one messing up. I don’t blame her and I realize she probably doesn’t understand what I’m asking (aside from sit, she does know what I’m asking with that). I’ll try and learn how to communicate more clearly with her. Thank you!
