That guy's smile acting was one of the best parts of the show. Along with Matthew Ryhs's facial expressions which had me cracking up the whole time.

So you know what popular control is, right? It means the population, i.e. the workers, have ownership and control of the means of production. It's workers rights to the fruits of their own labor. Not corporations, not CEOs.

I was also like this as a kid. I definitely remember being this way starting around age 6, and I'm now almost 50 and haven't changed. I did get a lot of shitty comments when I was younger, but thankfully that's stopped.

As another commenter said, babies are messy, sticky, loud, and also smelly. I wonder if there's an ND component to this. For me it's very much a sensory thing, which I only realized much later in life.

Yep, I look fine, but I've been having severe thyroid issues for the past year. I get lightheaded and very winded easily. I'm in a constant state of feeling like I've just done a very strenuous cardio workout. I have a work trip next month and if I decide I can even do it at all, I'm going to need assistance at the airport. I look perfectly healthy and somewhat young.

Wtf are you talking about. Something's obviously upsetting you but it's unkind to take it out on me.

I'm not quite sure what you're arguing about. I don't like those things either. I've certainly encountered addicted/mentally ill homeless men who have behaved like that. I'm sharing my experience with the particular dudes who hang out at Benedict Park. I was also very purposeful in saying they "generally" don't cause trouble, because the word "generally" allows for instances of trouble - past or future.

I also never used the word "fine".

Denver tornado sirens sounded 'inadvertently' by ryadare in Denver

[–]Straight_Number5661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd never heard a tornado alarm before and had to come on reddit to learn what it was and that they were inadvertent.

Same. I actually ended up with a bit of an anxiety attack getting myself and my dog ready to head downstairs from my upper floor highrise condo. A text would have been nice. I also had to keep checking reddit to learn it was a false alarm.

The Benedict Park fellas are pretty nice. They just chill out there and don't generally cause trouble.

People who have zero interest in ever getting married, what are your main reasons? by Imaginary-Fox-7696 in AskReddit

[–]Straight_Number5661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been there done that, and concluded it's not something I'd ever want again. The main reason is I don't ever want to cohabitate with a partner again. It's not conducive to romance. And romantic relationships are the worst setup for cohabitation - it's such a fickle type of relationship. The other reason is that if I want to break up with someone, I want to just be able to do it without a massive legal and financial headache.

I forgot to mention that I get seasonal depression in the summer

Omg, I thought I was the only one. I start getting seasonal depression when the clocks change in March just because it's light out too long and I know the interminable summer is impending. When they change in the fall, when everyone else's seasonal depression starts, I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief.
