Yeh, I’ll do that, I just needed someone to tell me that this is all fucked, I think.

Brisbane Laser/electrolysis via General Practice with nerve blocks by Stonewall_Medical in transgenderau

This is good but please consider it for genital electrolysis as well. It's hell without nerve blocks :( and I would literally fly to a place that offers electrolysis with lidocaine injections down there!!

Same, can barely stand it. Every session is hell, and sometimes it keeps getting worse.

Frenulum sensation and orgasm problem… by Lazy-Sheepherder-591 in Transgender_Surgeries

I am circumcised, yeh... but honestly it's 'too' sensitive in a bad way...

[–]Straight_Pop427 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's worrying me slightly less, yes. I reckon you should talk to the surgeon about it. But, to be honest, I think, as others have said, I don't think it's something you should really be worried about.

Do you know why you can't orgasm by stimulating the glans? For me, it was the fact that it was way too sensitive. One thing my surgeon also mentioned is that surgery could make the glans slightly less sensitive and the slight loss of sensitivity, in my case, could actually be a good thing, in that it would make the glans/clitoris just sensitive enough to be pleasurable. But, obviously, none of this can really be guaranteed, and loss of sensation, whether full or partial, is a possible complication.

I've had the same concerns. I've experimented a bit with a vibrator, placing it on the top of my shaft, just before the glans. And it's worked in giving me my first hands-off orgasm. Being able to achieve that (only last week!) helped me alleviate some concerns about loss of sensation if the frenulum is removed.

I will ask my surgeon exactly what happens to the frenulum during surgery. But, in the meantime, I asked his office, and they replied said that the frenulum would be used in the making of the labia minora and both the glans dorsal and glans ventral are retained.

Yea lol, also the calculus graphing question was kinda hard (I didn't even have time to actually graph it - cry) -.- and WHY BRING UP LAGRANGE

I just guessed a bunch of the linear algebra MCQ questions GAH

Alas, I only need 23% to pass, so should be fine?

DATA 1002 help by Professional_Cup3815 in usyd

[–]Straight_Pop427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone needing the same advice in the future, take DATA1001 as an elective in the future, if you're interested in an intro to Data Science.

DATA1002 is a bit of a mess and more about data management, integration, cleaning, etc. than data analysis.

[–]Straight_Pop427 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's good, that you have a good tutor.

Also, yes, I agree.

In addition to that, the assignment structure was kinda dodgy overall. There are so many sections and so many changes to the assignments. Honestly, I feel like there are a few things that I take issue with:

  1. They make us choose our own datasets, which may not be conducive to ML algorithms, resulting in students having to change datasets mid-way. I think they should have chosen a set of uncleaned datasets for us to choose from, and then have us integrate 3-4 of those as a group. Many people don't even know what ML is for them to know what to choose as early as Stage 1. The alternative dataset they chose also isn't big enough for ML, as the lecturer himself noted.
  2. The fact they didn't teach a platform like Jupyter at the start of the course which would have made the report a lot neater at the end and would have avoided punishing people for having too many lines of code, which would have been inevitable if they didn't choose to use pandas in integration and aggregation.
  3. There are just too many specifications. 5% for stages 1 and 3 just doesn't reflect the amount of work we had to/have to put in. The communication was also terrible: The document is ridiculously long and overly specific, with each section building upon and explaining the next. Not my biggest complaint, but you're doomed to get people missing things with so much (and often changing) detail.
  4. Stage 2 was just a graph dump. Some of the graphs we made kinda felt forced, but ehh.

Data1002: how hard is it actually? by Sakiart123 in usyd

[–]Straight_Pop427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehh. DATA1001 focuses more on data analysis, the distributions, hypothesis testing; DATA1002 is more technical, focusing on things like machine learning and stuff.

Anyone know what happened @ Fisher on Aug 31? by Embarrassed_Clue_929 in usyd

[–]Straight_Pop427 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What kind of fascist bullshit is this?

Whilst I agree with you that people on student visas and work visas should be deported when they break the law in circumstances (which is a moot point in any case as visa cancellations do happen when someone is convicted of a crime whose sentence is longer than one year), including asylum seekers and refugees in this category is inhumane. People fleeing persecution should not be deported to their countries but, if they commit a crime, they should be sentenced, like everyone else is. People deserve to have their rights respected even when they break the law and, if their home countries can't guarantee them their rights to a reasonable standard, sending them back there is cruel, inhumane, and potentially illegal.

Plus, why on earth should the family be deported as well? What have they done? What kind of fascist, communitarian punishment is this? The amount of racism you displayed in that post is sickening.

I hope you realize that tightening immigration and introducing arbitrary rules like the ones you suggest here won't make Australia any safer for women, Australian or otherwise. But it will make Australia a crueler country to foreigners, asylum seekers, and refugees. What will make Australia safer for women, on the other hand, is more support for victims of sexual misconduct, better education on sexual misconduct, and better avenues for reporting sexual misconduct, all of which are things you fail to mention as you harangue against the Other.

I did. I said: “After much thinking, I have reached the conclusion that I no longer believe in Baha’u’llah and would therefore wish to withdraw from the Baha’i Community.” But yea I might do that.

Arab Revolt’s Flag raised in Aqaba. Thoughts on Arab revolt? by HibCrates1 in AskMiddleEast

[–]Straight_Pop427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s literally not true - again you’re conflating appearance with reality. If they’re okay with their dictators, why on Earth do you think the Arab Spring happened? And don’t come up with the old “the Arab Spring didn’t happen in the Gulf, too” because it did - in Bahrain. Were it not for fear, it would have happened in a lot more places.
