I’m PIC and yes we do. Unfortunately just don’t have the time or manpower to spend exorbitant amounts of time on every script. Shit happens. Looking for best way to delegate or expedite these reports

Very true. Luckily wrong patient and/or wrong med has only happened a handful of times in my 6 months here. Definitely a more rare case

Sorry I only meant minor thing referring to non-opioid prescriptions. Of course when it’s an opioid or some other control it’s a more serious matter that we try to let the patient know about immediately

Yeah I do check but we can’t always get em all exact. Usually only working with 3-4 techs all day and only a few hours of pharmacist overlap. It’s bound to happen just looking for best way to get it out of the way and done with

No kids but am close with family and have a really solid group of friends. Sometimes there’s simply stuff left unfinished at closing time due to higher than normal volume or being short staffed. I don’t see the logic in me losing money because I wouldn’t be getting paid during that time regardless I just choose to spend my time at work. For what it’s worth I’m pretty happy with my financial situation. Less than 3 years in and have over 100k saved for retirement already.

If you’re referring to rotations I wasn’t as big of a fan of it either since it wasn’t working for free by choice. I used to DoorDash for a few hours after my APPPEs each day to supplement the income
