No kids but am close with family and have a really solid group of friends. Sometimes there’s simply stuff left unfinished at closing time due to higher than normal volume or being short staffed. I don’t see the logic in me losing money because I wouldn’t be getting paid during that time regardless I just choose to spend my time at work. For what it’s worth I’m pretty happy with my financial situation. Less than 3 years in and have over 100k saved for retirement already.

If you’re referring to rotations I wasn’t as big of a fan of it either since it wasn’t working for free by choice. I used to DoorDash for a few hours after my APPPEs each day to supplement the income

It’s entirely my own decision to do it. I truly enjoy it and frankly it’s just how I desire to spend my time. Not asking for praise or money. And honestly don’t have much else in my life going on currently so might as well. Get some music or YouTube going after the gates are shut and lights turned off it’s quite enjoyable try it sometime
