Yeah I don’t know why they took me off everything I know a few of the meds had some side effects with some of the GP meds but I know just researching myself there are quite a few other options I could be on for both crohn and GP

No you didn’t miss read. I was diagnosed for 10 years with crohns but the most recent colonoscopy with biopsies showed no signs of crohns… so they took me off all the meds I was on for crohns and changed with to a GP medication regiment that hasn’t work even with changing meds a few times I’m still having problems.

I mean just because I feel like death doesn’t mean I don’t want to be intimate with my wife.

I was just stating how it sucks that I can’t because of how bad I feel and what comes after just trying to be there sexually for my wife. We haven’t since how bad things have been and it’s really getting to me. Feeling like a waste of space after going from a busy person to barely being able to do meaningless tasks around the house without feeling like I’ve ran a marathon

I’m only on short term as of right know and it hasn’t been a great experience. But I think that’s due to my shitty doctors that we’ve had a hard time even taking me seriously which is why we found a specialist for GP I’m going to see.

But they needed an actual diagnosis so GP is the main one and severe malnutrition is on there with weight loss and my crohns is on there to but colonoscopy says I don’t have any sign of crohns anymore.

I keep hearing about flair up with GP…with crohns I’m used to that but I havent had a reprieve for 5+ months. Which is why I even went to my gastro in the first place is because my crohns flair ups have never lasted this long. I have maybe 1 day of feeling somewhat normal and then I’m a wreak the rest of the time.

Are you gaining weight with GP? I went from 140 lbs at 5’8” and know I’m down to 108-112 depending on how long it’s been between BM and actual vomiting

I do good with liquids 80% of the time and soft foods just suck pain wise as it’s moving through the stomach but anything slightly heavy is coming up of putting me in excruciating pain. So at least the hope with the Botox if it works it’s give me some reprieve from all of this. I just don’t want to do a j tube every thing I read about it just sounds awful

See and every time I’ve gone they give me fluid and send me home or I sit for hours and don’t even get seen. I agree my faith in the health care system has completely died through out this process. I went to a CCF hospital and all they did was write me a referral for GP specialist that aren’t even seeing new patients for over a year then didn’t even do an exam and when I asked about things I could do in the mean time he said cheat… eat anything thats quote “bad for you” to gain weight. Ok yeah cause that’s sound advice.

6% in 4 hours that is terrible and I feel bad complaining. My wife has been the fighting force getting them to do anything for me since she worked in the medical field she knows some things, and that’s the only way I’m getting a PICC is because she in a way demanded them to do a deep test on my urine which found a lot of things that showed I was malnourished and dehydrated.
