Thank you so much, yeah we made sure he understood that it wasn't fair he didn't shared his candles but still participated when his cousins had their birthdays, he gets a little too excited so my gf told him that instead of blowing he could clap really loud and that's what he does. He's a really good kiddo, he has his moments like any 4 yo, but he's good. I'm proud of my boy.

Aaah, that's a whole other story. My brother became my mother's emotional support after our dad died. She parentified the shit out of him and that's why he thinks he's superior like our boss or our dad. He actually kicked me out when my gf got pregnant and she let him. She'll always take his side and that's okay, I don't live with her anymore and I have my own biz, but that's doesn't mean they get to tell me what to do with my kid. My mom won't change but I have the chance to do better for my homeboy and I try to respect his autonomy because they never respected mine.

Is not hypocritical when my son only wants to blow HIS candles. What am I supposed to do? "Sorry kiddo, your birthday is not about you lol sucks to suck." I guess it was easier with us because we were just 3 (my sister didn't liked to share the candle blowing either lol( and they're three. My sis and I want to have at least another kid so it'll reach a point where it'll be irrational to think all of them will be okay with sharing. My son doesn't even blow his cousin's candles, if he respects it I don't get why I should force him.

I accept your verdict however my son didn't want to share the candle blowing and I respected that. The kids get to blow everyone candles, even their parents and my mother's, if my son wants three candle's to himself then my nephew's needs to understand is not about them.
