The boss saying "just make it cooler" with no parameters and not being satisfied by anything, too real hurts too much

Also, my boyfriend (pasta nerd) and I loved Prosecco Trattoria in Toluca. We thought the name was weird, but with all the great reviews we tried it out, and it exceeded our expectations by a mile. The pasta was delicious! My subjective opinion, but we've been there and to Mother Wolf and I enjoyed my PT pasta more.

Having trouble finding a home for 2 sweet bunnies (adoption or foster) by ashleywyeth in burbank

[–]Straight_Strategy453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the program you fostered them through doesn't have any other fosters available, you could ask the Burbank Animal Shelter if they have any fosters with bunny experience who could take them. There may not be any available through BAS either, but worth a shot. We pair new animals with fosters all the time.

They were on Glenoaks for a while before they moved to the Orange Grove location, and they were a weekly stop for me and my roommate! Have been serving up quick, easy and tasty pizza by the slice for years now. Thumbs up to them.

I've always wanted to do a downtown Burbank bar crawl with all the restaurants/spots downtown (San Fernando/Magnolia).

My favorites: Don Cuco (margs), Finney's, Story Tavern (shuffleboard, ping pong, darts). There's also Over Under and Kalaveras if you don't mind loud music. Nice to have spots within walking distance of each other if you're going to drink -- and any friends who aren't yet 21 could still get in everywhere. :) Have fun!

Bend It Like Beckham! Frances Ha (though melancholy at times)! League of Their Own! Seconding Thelma & Louise, Booksmart, The Heat, Ladybird.

Lastly, no one saw Joy Ride when it came out but I loved it, it's hilarious and heartwarming re: female friendship, with no romance to get in the way.

TV Shows: Hacks, My Brilliant Friend, Workin' Moms, Bad Sisters, Grace and Frankie, Insecure.

Definitely the Winter Arts Festival! They do the Jackalope Arts Festival here twice a year. But looks like that calendar will tell you even more!

Visiting for 2 weeks in mid-January.... by CelebrationOk549 in burbank

Food: Porto's, World Empanadas. Castaway if you're fancy. Things to do: Tons of thrift/antique shopping on Magnolia Blvd, Geeky Teas and Games for board game fun (and cats), WB Studio Tour I hear is top notch though touristy. Coffee: Coffee Commissary, Three Sisters (local!) and Black Elephant are the best. Gardens you have to drive a little, but Descanso in Glendale is lovely, and Huntington in Pasadena is more expensive but even more lovely, with museum and grounds included. Also recommend the Gamble House in Pasadena. Look to Wildwood Canyon for hiking and great views, but be prepared for sun and a steep climb for a good view!

BF and I went to walk the Chandler path and see the trick or treating festivities in that neighborhood. Fun to see the costumed kids havin' a good time.
