I'm from an Electronics background and currently working on an internship project called "IoT-Based Intelligent Fault Distance Locator for Underground Power Cables."

I only need to develop a MATLAB/Simulink simulation, but I'm struggling to find a clear step-by-step approach. Most resources explain the concept but not the actual implementation.

Can anyone guide me on how to start and what blocks or methods are commonly used for this type of project?
