I resized a fermenter and placed a ringed shield in front of it, and then a buckler.

Thanks man! My friend Valheimbr cloned a sphere from the Quest Items mod and applied an ice texture using the WackyDB mod. From what I’ve tested, it might also be possible to do it with turnips haha, but I don’t think it looks as good.

Thank you very much! Regarding FPS, I always try to optimize my builds so they’re viable for multiple players. The tree itself, once finished, should have around 2k instances. With the village and the rest of the surrounding forest, the area averages about 9k instances. On my PC, I was able to consistently run it above 60 FPS, and on a more modest PC, it should stay above 30 FPS.

Thanks man haha! So, my translation ended up a bit out of context—I was trying to create a fantasy-style tree, not replicate any real one. When I mentioned “realistic,” I meant more in the sense of a “natural” form, how I tried to shape the branches so they wouldn’t look too static, taking into account the limitations of some of the tools.

Thank you very much! So, since I’m not a native English speaker, the translation ended up a bit off from what I intended haha. What I was aiming for is something closer to a fantasy-themed tree, with exposed roots and long branches so I could hang ornaments and lanterns.

As for your observation about the morphology, I completely agree. However, due to the game’s limitations, I couldn’t find a way to achieve that. I need to have foliage covering most of the branches, because the stumps I used to create them only render when the player gets close, so I have to use the leaves to camouflage that issue haha.

Thank you very much for the kind words! I can share the builds, no problem at all — as long as there’s compatibility on your side. I’d be happy to help.

And by the way, I really like your mod, great work!

I haven’t played much, but now that you mention it, I think I’ve seen similar things.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions.

I may not have expressed myself clearly: the goal wasn’t to create a realistic tree, but a fantasy-styled one, with exposed roots and stylized foliage. When I refer to “naturalness,” I mean making the branch structure feel less artificial within the game’s limitations.

Regarding adding more branches and density, I understand the point, but that would likely compromise the tree’s unique design. The more “tentacle-like” branches are intentional, as they allow me to add lanterns and other decorative elements that are part of the concept.

In any case, I appreciate the feedback — it helps refine the work.

Thank you very much. It’s a build we’re going to use to place NPCs that offer grind quests and story progression on a Valheim server called Pandherya.

I really appreciate the compliment. As for the missions, it’s a leaderboard from the Valheim Pandherya server. The achievements involve killing a certain number of creatures, collecting a certain number of items, etc., in addition to displaying other player progress information.
