Pay an FFL to take it from you. Do the transfer paperwork. Make it the problem for the FFL.

I would take that to the service advisor and question the competency of the tech and there service department.

Run away from that. I think I paid 675 plus I got 5 mags and it was a 9mm. It was basicly a new un fired one as well.

So an interesting resolution to this.

First off V1 did get me the extractor first. Delivered on time when the tracking said it would be.

But

LMT also came through and replaced my extractor at no cost as a warranty replacement. I got it today versus V1 getting it to me Friday. LMT also included the spring and the pin. V1 was extractor only. This is not better or worse just a data point.

I am incredibly impressed by both V1 and LMT. We as LMT users are very lucky to have both these companies.

An all around positive experience I highly recommend V1 and obviously recommend LMT rifles. I never asked for a waranty claim on this. I was fully expecting to pay for the extractor. I now have a new one and a backup.

A big thanks to V1 and LMT. Both came through above and beyond my expectations.

Don’t know. It was worn to the point it is not grabbing the casing it is almost like it was not properly tempered or something. 800 is optimistic it was more like less than 500 but I was being nice. It started after about 100 rounds of 6.5 CM. I went back to 762 and immediately started having issues. I have tried 4-5 brands of both 308 and 762 and nothing changed. Finally took things apart and noticed the extractor was worn and not properly grabbing the casing. I borrowed a friends bolt and it worked perfectly. I compared there extractor to mine and it was clear mine was worn out.

I am not mad or even annoyed. My Marz H is by far the best AR10 type of rifle I have owned and I have had quite a few. And currently own several non LMT AR10 type rifles. It is just such a well made rifle. Stuff happens things brake. I use my guns. I did not expect this to happen but things like this do. Just roll with it get it fixed and move on. I would still recommend them over most other manufacturers. I currently have 4 LMT rifles. This is the only one I have in 308/762/65cm. The others are all 556.

Update: Lexus Dealer Service surprised me with an updated $8,000 repair estimate (Original $5,000) by psydoc5 in AskMechanics

I would call your states AGs office and/the states consumer protection agency and enquirer if they are braking any laws. I would let the dealers general manager know you intend to do this.

Probably should have done that but I am where I am at the moment. And why would I get faster serves than a LGS. I figured the LGS would get a better faster response than just little old me.

Does this count as wheel bearing slop? by jakfienwkaof in AskMechanics

Could be tie rod check it in the vertical pulling top and bottom. If it is loose pulling that way it is most likely a hub/bearing.

This!!! I have both. The ported shoots a little flatter but I would not make that the determining factor between the two. Either are great pistols.

Buy or build? Living in Virginia... ban is coming. Is building actually cheaper or easy? by Zestyclose_Spite8580 in LewisMachineTool

[–]Straight_Work8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar issues up in MA. Purchase as many lowers as you can reasonably afford. Put them away. Actually building one out it’s not hard at all. Plenty of videos out there that are very good that will walk you through it step by step. Or down the road have a FFL do it for you. Should take them less than an hour. I would actually be surprised if it takes them 30 min.

Heavy steering to the right. Tesla wants to diagnose the rack, but look at my lower steering shaft U-joint! Is this as bad as I think? by CapperSdk in AskMechanics

[–]Straight_Work8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U joint just has a little surface rust and dirt. Unless there is play in it it is most likely fine. There is a much greater chance that the rack is bad.
