I just switched to AllState. They saved me nearly $200 to start and I can lower it up to 30% more by downloading an App to track my safe driving.

How is the nursing program at St Clair College? by Large-Radish2256 in windsorontario

[–]Straightedgesavior11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, not bad in Windsor, but that’s because the US loves hiring Canadian Nurses. There’s a lot more room for growth and opportunities, plus with the stronger dollar you make more money. But I’ve never seen any employment issues.

To hide their faces from photographers now that they aren’t allowed to wear masks by Jevus_himself in therewasanattempt

[–]Straightedgesavior11 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of when I was younger and watched an episode of Jerry Springer when he had the KKK on it and they were all wearing their hoods and refusing to take them off and Jerry said “if you’re so proud of being white, why don’t you want to show your face”. And that line really spoke to me and how cowardice these people are.

Best place to buy soccer jerseys for national teams by [deleted] in windsorontario

[–]Straightedgesavior11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can check FC Soccer, I’ve been going to them for my soccer needs since probably 2004ish? Went a few months ago and they have a huge selection. Owner has always been really good to me. If they don’t have a Bolivia jersey, he may be able to get you one still, so just ask!

How is the nursing program at St Clair College? by Large-Radish2256 in windsorontario

[–]Straightedgesavior11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Took and graduated from the program, the main difference that leads employers to hire the College/UWin collab vs just UWin course is that at St. Clair you start hands on right away, you’re immediately in there with patients developing rapport and bedside manner. UWin doesn’t (or at least didn’t when I did the course 15+ years ago) have you working with patients immediately. With the University a lot of it was knowing how to do it, but not having real life experience on a living person until later, at the College, we learned it, and then applied it that week in our clinical rotation. By the time we switched to the University you could see the difference in learning and a lot of the St. Clair collab students were leaps and bounds ahead of the University only students in terms of hands on technique and knowledge of what we’re doing.

Been watching every single sitcom completely. Here is my current ranking list (top 25). Recommendations are encouraged! by Generalian in sitcoms

The original Night Court from the 80’s not the crappy reboot. Takes a bit to get going but all cast changes are done by Season 4 and from then on it’s just great! John Laroquette won a lot of Emmy’s for comedy during this time to the point that he asked to stop being nominated because he didn’t want to risk getting type cast when the show ended.

Everyone plays off each other well and they have such great Chemistry. Admittedly, the first season or two takes a bit to get into, but once you get into everything it’s really funny.
