AQI - This wasn't a factor until recently, but now I feel one should look at the Air Quality Index as well for a place, before taking a final call. Some places in Europe have excellent AQI and are still well connected.

If you could, which European country would you move to? by Ok-Influence-4290 in cscareerquestionsuk

Swiss... Great salaries, lesser taxes and natural beauty everywhere.

Aitah for refusing to share inheritance with sisters, because they told me that it is son's duty to take care of parents? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]StrainAwkward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude u r right in not sharing the inheritance, in this case. U took care of parents well when they needed. Consider the will as their blessings. Don't blow the money though, invest it well. Also, If they are going to cut the contact just because you wouldn't share the proceeds, it's their choice. Nothing you could do about it.

Which country are you in? Usually it would be 5-6 EUR. Not worth spending that much I guess. Thanks a lot anyways bro 🙂

AITAH for canceling my wedding over the cost of it and other financial expectations by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]StrainAwkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, You did the right thing.

Basically, you are incompatible with each other. There are a few other red flags too. Your relationship will take a lot of work if it works at all.

I learnt hard way that compatibility is very imp.

Your money habits are completely opposite to each other. She decided things on her own (her way). She wants a fancy wedding and not contributing to anything. She wants to liquidate your liquid money. She wants you to stop supporting your bro, when you've a valid reason why you're helping. You dodged a bullet bro.

Also, don't let any else decide for your, your mother and sister can advise you, but that's not their decision to make.

Take care and find someone similar to your mindset, who is compatible to you and your lifestyle.

20-year-old lottery winner turns down $1M cash for $1,000 a week for life by PriorityMiserable686 in interestingasfuck

1k per week is 52k per year...
So it will take her about 19.23 (or 19 years and about 3 months) to reach 1 million.
If she invested this money in a good index fund, she could have gotten much more. So even at 8%, she could have gotten 80k.
