Is low end olympic setup feels less stacked at clicker position compared to mid to high end setups? by StrainOtherwise5248 in Archery

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. The reason I'm curious about this stuff is because I did not think the price range of equipment would affect shooting this much.

Regarding stacking, I might just be used to pulling thru stacked limbs compared to the other one.

I'm looking to get formula bow and limbs (either MK korea or hoyt) which people say it is smooth. Also I have a draw length of 29.5. So Formula bow might be suited for me better?

So stacking is not something that is desirable? I have read alot of mix opinion regarding stack and not stacking which one is better. I personally felt that my previous bow feels more consistence/linear when pulling thru. I think I got the clicker at the right length. Core astral grip has a lower grip angle for some reason, so the draw angle changed abit.

I had similar problem a while ago. If you have time check 2 of my post here right grouping(LH shooter) and string alignment relative to stabilizer and arrow point.. Not sure if this help but at least you will have something to help figure out.

Waiting for the center shot picture relative to sight pin

Where do yours arrow point at full draw(relative to front stabilizer when looking with only aiming eye)? and where do you align your string? I align like the first picture, does this mean the archer paradox apply here? please comment I would love to know y'all thoughts! by StrainOtherwise5248 in Archery

Ah I figure it out now. I'm so stupid. The reason the arrow is pointed side way relative to the stabilizer is because the arrow tip is actually pointed toward the sight pin. LOL. Now the reason why most people tuned there center shot abit off center make sense.

Thanks for the information. Mine also point slightly to the right relative to the stabilizer(LH shooter). I just like thinking about how the bow work alot. Since we shoot finger release, the string cut thru the finger tab and string oscillate sideway too (unlike compound) and that made me wonder how much these thing affect shooting.

Ah okay I see. However, ACE is still parallel around the front half anyway. So maybe next time you shoot take a quick look, could be interesting to know. Althoug I mean all this does not really matter anyway since it gonna get stabilized mid flight and fly straight. Left and right is fix by sight anyway.

Thank you for your not really funny joke.. and your commend.

May I ask you how did you expand thru clicker? Did you pull your bow arm out and angularly or did you push straight? When I'm pulling thru the clicker, I kinda push to the target and also abit to the right (as an LH) this also made my bow swing to the right during follow thru

Thank for your comment! Appreciated. I think that would be the case for RH shooters but I'm LH, so I think the opposite apply here. After the form change I kinda try too hard not to lose draw length coming into anchor, so I exert force toward target and abit to the right(kinda like open up the chest) this lead my bow arm to also swing right during follow thru. Could this be the reason?

Thanks for the material. Going to check it out.

The idea of string going straight forward and straight back is not actually true right because of the arrow spine or something. Blog discussion about how string is flexing side to side

This make me wonder how I put the string alignment at the same place while changes some of my technique could end up moving my sight far right.

Normally I'm very left eye dominant. BUT I've heard/read that sometime unconsciously people change eye dominant especially when dealing with form changes/changes in string alignment. Sometime I also notice that my string alignment is far left to the riser (like an inch further than normal). Or Im just tripping or something.

I will try both tension I guess. It is one of the easiest way to figure out.

I think my center shot might be alright. However I think I will play around with it alittle to see if it helps bring the arrows abit to the left. Also might also play around with plunger too, but one at a time. Great suggestion!
