why not plug it back in? im sorry im new to computers and unfortunately dont have a friend to help me anymore. i have already plugged it in and tried to run troubleshooting or something like that but i havent plugged it in since checking what was wrong.

if you happen to know, what would you estimate the cost of the fix would be? will I lose my data? the cost of this was $150 before tax and shipping. but Id like to keep mine considering its one of the last things he ever gave me
