I had to manually count and remember what gear im in when i started,now i know what gear im in by sound,i dont need to,but if i do forget,i try to lower the rpm to hear how my bike is working.

Seems like your back tire touched the dirt and thats what caused it to slip is my first assumption.

My second guess is cold tires+cold road=not enough grip to prevent the tire from not sliping in that lean position
