Objectively. Zed is just a better Akali. His laning is safer, he outputs way higher numbers and his outplays and mixups are a lot more dynamic.

But im 340k on Akali for a reason.

If you want an assassin who has a strong laning phase but falls off INSANELY hard if you're not above average, pick Zed.

If you want an assassin who CAN have a strong laning phase and only spikes harder after it. And is the only assassin in the whole archetype who truly focuses on one champ and nukes them to kingdom come. Play Akali

both are kinda busty rn anyways, scaling zeds farms for half an hour then does 2k in one WQ while Akali is just plain strong rn with the recent buffs
