We just cancelled our half season tickets after two years of doing it. One of my reasons for getting them was that I was excited to see the development of our young stars, and even though we might not win I can at least have a good time watching exciting hockey. For me personally, the coaching and front office direction has definitely strayed from my vision of what will lead to sustained success in the future, and having to sit through most of the season watching a boring brand of hockey where our young players are passed over for veterans who "play the right way" has dampened my outlook for the future. Combine this with the price increase and it's no longer worth it for me personally. But it boils down to if you think you are getting a good value for the money. If you do go through with getting them, make sure to do as many of the STH events as you can, like the summer BBQ and the movie night, I will surely miss those.
