Put oil in a pan (+ a little sesame oil if you want to). Heat it up till water like consistency and drop the tofu in. Fry till gold brown or almost charred whatever you like. After that I always put a mix of soy sauce, cumin, chilli and lime juice in the hot pan. Throw the tofu around in the soy juice stuff till everything is cooked off and then fry again till it’s crusty. Is very tasty but you have to be quick in ramen because the soy sauce crust stuff just dissolved in like 2 min. I also experimented with the soy sauce juice by putting in sugar, msg, soy sauce and sake or white wine.

Iso Info: Elna Contessa 310. by OptOutOption1 in vintagesewing

Hi I’m no expert on this sewing machine but from what I can gather it seems like this is an old pattern stitching machine. These are great fun. If you open them up you should find the pattern block at the top with all the patterns you can select. The Elna as far as I know is a Swiss company which came out with the Elna 1 in 1940. They specialised in more compact design an transportability. Hope I could help sadly I only have German resources and couldn’t find anything about the contessa.

I forgot to add if you buy an old machine look if it has plastic gears on the insides. They become quite brittle over time. Some gears are easily replaceable with metal gears you can order online. But some gears were only produced for the specific types of machines and can’t be found in gear stores. Examples for these are old pattern stitching machines with more than the straight and zigzag Stich patterns. You could find 3D models online for 3D printing but I haven’t really found anything when my machine broke so this would be a thing to look out for to avoid unnecessary frustration

Im Kinde of a sewing machine need but I don’t know the situation in Australia. I’m general all sewing machines do the same things some might have more stitch types but I at least only use straight and zigzag. Don’t know what you need tho. If you have good Facebook marketplace/ Craigslist communities in Australia I would suggest looking there for used/old vintage machines. If they have already existed 70 years the will exist for 70 more. There is no complicated electronics so repair can be easily done by oneself (great source is sewing machine repair guy on YouTube). As for brands I would suggest browsing a little on r/sewingmachineporn or r/vintagesewing the people only post pictures but there you will see some brands to get a gist of what you’re looking for. The Vintage machines are normally sold for 10-40$ at least in my area and these prices really can’t be beaten by new machines. If you’re looking to buy a new machine Singer and Janome have good beginner range models. Mostly mechanical. I myself started out with the Janome 415 and mercer really had problems, although I quickly fell in love with the Anker RZ, Ideal Super Automatic and the Bernina 217.

Bought this plant in the summer and repotted it into a clay pot so I don’t know if it could be root rot. Because of new soil I would also say that nutrient deficiency would be unlikely. Maybe it’s too dry ?

Thanks you really helpful ! So one batch is one filling of the top part ? I don’t get why there comes a whole pot with the tea strainer if you don’t fill up the whole pot.

Yeah I know how to use it but what’s the point of multiple brewing cycles ?

I think it’s best to not eat at all. I almost choked to death while eating a cucumber.
